Investment Manager Research and Oversight:
As a matter of policy, Marquette relies on third-party vendors for
much of its quantitative software and database needs. These products
or data are modified as needed to meet each client’s needs. Marquette
supplements these substantial databases with over 300 face-to-face
meetings with investment managers each year and maintenance of an
internal database summarizing the information obtained from these
meetings. In addition, approximately 80 on-site visits are conducted
each year to investigate and confirm an investment manager’s operating
environment.
All of the firm’s investment manager searches are created based on
each client’s specific needs and circumstances. The investment manager

investment manager evaluations as well as a complete resource to
implementing the selection decision.
