Ben Mohr is a senior research analyst for Marquette Associates and has 20 years of investment experience. He joined the firm in 2014 and provides thought-leadership on fixed income investing as well as fixed income asset allocation oversight. Ben is responsible for leading the due diligence of fixed income asset managers, providing guidance on fixed income product selection, and developing actionable views based on a macroeconomic and capital markets outlook. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee, traditional investment manager search committee, healthcare committee, and impact investing committee.
Before joining Marquette, Ben was a private equity manager at Beacon Bay Holdings managing control investments in niche manufacturing industries. Prior to that, Ben was a merchant banker with Creative Health Capital specializing in debt private placements and an investment banker with Jefferies & Company advising on public bond offerings.
Ben holds a B.S. in economics from the California Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
