Brett Graffyis an associate director for Marquette Associates and has 11 years of investment experience. He joined Marquette in 2019 and provides thought leadership on private market investing. Brett is responsible for reviewing and conducting due diligence on private market investment products and managers, and developing actionable views based on a macroeconomic and capital markets outlook. He is a member of the firm’s sustainable investing group and alternative investment manager search committee.
Prior to joining Marquette, Brett was a director at a New York City-based financial technology start-up. He previously held roles in the Institutional Groups at Invesco, Deutsche Bank, and Sentinel Investments where he led relationship development for the firm’s largest clients.
Brett holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association®. Brett started his career playing professional baseball in the Chicago White Sox organization and was drafted in the 24th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball First Year Players draft.
