Ibrahim Rashid
Research Analyst, Sustainable Investing

Ibrahim Rashid is a research analyst for Marquette Associates and joined the firm in 2022. He is responsible for conducting due diligence on sustainable investment products and managers as well as developing macroeconomic and capital markets research. He is a co-lead of Marquette’s sustainable investing group.

Prior to joining Marquette, Ibrahim held various internships in the impact and ESG investing industry, including at IFF, Refugee Investment Network, NEPC, and the I-Care Foundation. He previously worked in the international development sector supporting the U.S. government on energy, land reform, food security, and nutrition assistance initiatives with John Snow, Inc., and Social Impact.

Ibrahim holds a Master’s in Public Policy with a certificate in municipal finance from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a B.A. in international relations from the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University.

He is a contributor with ImpactAlpha, an impact investing publication, and was named one of their Top 10 Voices That Moved the Conversation in 2021 for his writing on disability justice. In addition, he is the founder of Strong Haulers, a digital health tool for people with chronic and post-viral illnesses such as Long COVID.
