Patrick McDowell is the director of OCIO services and a senior vice president for Marquette Associates with 15 years of experience. He joined the firm in 2020 and oversees the firm’s OCIO services line, working with the OCIO committee to support and develop discretionary services for Marquette clients. Pat is a member of the OCIO committee and compliance committee.
Prior to joining Marquette, Patrick was a vice president of discretionary OCIO services at a nationally recognized investment consulting firm, where he co-led the discretionary services program, overseeing approximately $11 billion in institutional assets across 90 client relationships. Previously, Patrick worked as an assistant director, fiduciary and client services at Marco Consulting Group, overseeing the day-to-day administration of the firm’s largest OCIO clients. He began his career as an accountant, working for Nuveen Investments as a senior accountant, fund administration operations, and at Grant Thornton, LLP within their national controller group.
Patrick holds a B.S. in accountancy from the University of Illinois and an M.S. in finance from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. He is a certified public accountant in Illinois and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association®. Pat is a volunteer with Big Shoulders Fund.
