Neil S. Capps, CAIA, FDP

Neil Capps is the director of client service and a managing partner for Marquette Associates. He has 20 years of investment experience and joined the firm in 2008. Neil serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. He actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members. Neil co-leads the client analyst team and is a member of the firm’s operations committee.

Prior to joining Marquette, Neil was an associate portfolio officer in the commercial finance division of Merrill Lynch & Co.

Neil holds a B.S. in business administration with a minor in Japanese from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association® and also holds the Financial Data Professional designation and is a member of the FDP Institute®. Neil also earned the Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets℠ issued by the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals and is a member of the DACFP.

Matt Nowak, AIF®

Matt Nowak is the associate director of defined contribution for Marquette Associates and has nine years of investment experience. He joined the firm in 2021 and actively supports the DC practice working with a variety of client relationships. Matt is a co-leader of the defined contribution services team, collaborating with consultants and clients to provide guidance on fiduciary best practices, investment research including target date funds and retirement income, plan design, recordkeeper evaluation, and participant engagement, among other topics. He is a member of the firm’s defined contribution committee and traditional investment manager search committee.

Prior to joining Marquette, Matt was a regional internal consultant at Nationwide Financial, where he partnered with financial advisors to provide retirement plan solutions for plan sponsors and participants.

Matt holds a B.B.A. with a certificate in international business from Ohio University. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation. Additionally, he serves on the Investment Committee for the Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA).

Lili Park

Lili Park is a vice president for Marquette Associates. She has 14 years of investment experience and joined Marquette in 2010. Lili serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. She actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members. Lili is a member of the firm’s sustainable investing group.

Lili holds a B.S. in finance and marketing from DePaul University. She is a member of Women Investment Professionals, Chicago.

Jose Sanchez

Jose Sanchez is a vice president for Marquette Associates. He has 16 years of investment experience and joined Marquette in 2008. Jose serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. He actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members. Jose co-leads the client analyst team.

Jose holds a B.S. in finance from DePaul University’s College of Commerce.

Alberto Rivera

Alberto Rivera is a vice president for Marquette Associates. He has 11 years of investment experience and joined Marquette in 2014. Alberto serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. He actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members. Alberto is a member of the firm’s sustainable investing group.

Previously, Alberto was responsible for performance calculations and client analysis as a performance analyst at Marquette and also worked with asset class analysts as a research data analyst. Prior to joining Marquette, he was a research analyst at HFR Asset Management.

Alberto holds a B.S. in business finance from DePaul University. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Children’s Literacy Initiative, on the Associate Board for Esperanza Health Centers, and as a member of the Civic Federation.

Matt Anderson, CFA

Matt Anderson is a vice president for Marquette Associates. He has nine years of investment experience and joined Marquette in 2015. Matt serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. He actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members.

Prior to joining Marquette, Matt held a position as a real estate analyst responsible for executing, monitoring, and recording trades.

Matt holds a B.S. in business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.

Ross Williams

Ross Williams is an assistant vice president for Marquette Associates. He has 10 years of investment experience and joined Marquette in 2014. Ross serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. He actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members.

Ross holds a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa.

Adam Melone

Adam Melone is an assistant vice president for Marquette Associates. He has nine years of investment experience and joined Marquette in 2015. Adam serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. He actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members.

Previously, Adam was responsible for performance calculations and client analysis as a performance analyst at Marquette.

Adam holds a B.S. in agricultural and consumer economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Tara Murphy

Tara Murphy is an assistant vice president for Marquette Associates. She has 31 years of investment experience and joined Marquette in 2017. Tara serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. She actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members.

Prior to joining Marquette, Tara was a performance analyst at Meketa Investment Group. Previously, she was a senior analyst at Disabato Advisers prior to the company’s merger with Meketa and also held roles at Clark Consulting, Concord Investment Company, and Kidder Peabody.

Tara holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Eva Kasarova

Eva Kasarova is an assistant vice president for Marquette Associates and works from our Baltimore office. She has 14 years of investment experience and joined the firm in 2021. Eva serves as the secondary point of contact on a variety of client relationships and is responsible for the daily operations and management of client investment portfolios. She actively supports consultants by delivering both exceptional client service and thoughtful investment guidance to staff and investment committee members. Eva is a member of the firm’s engagement committee.

Prior to joining Marquette, Eva was a manager of institutional relationship associates at Brown Advisory, and previously held several roles in client service and operations. She previously was an operations specialist at Morgan Stanley.

Eva holds a B.S. in business and marketing from Towson University. She serves as the treasurer for the board of The Bulgarian Cultural Center of Baltimore “Dora Gabe” (“BCCB”).
