On Tuesday, May 18th, David Hernandez, CFA will be speaking at the 7th Annual Midwest Institutional Forum hosted by Markets Group.
David will be moderating a panel entitled, “The Masqueraders of Growth in Equities,” with several industry professionals. The panel will discuss the current international equity landscape following the unusual market recovery in 2020. After a brief sell-off during the early stages of the pandemic, equity markets quickly recovered despite the crippling effect of COVID-19 on the global economy. Though high-growth, high-momentum names have been the best performers across international markets, this discussion will focus on valuations and fundamentals, as they may matter more for returns going forward.
