On Wednesday, November 10th, Kweku Obed, CFA, CAIA will be speaking at the 25th Annual National Association of Securities Professionals-NY Chapter (NASP-NY) Symposium, “Democratizing the Financial Industry,” being held virtually this year.
Kweku will be joining a panel entitled, “A Consultant Perspective,” with several fellow investment consultants: Investment management consultants play an invaluable role in the stewardship of their pension fund clients. Hear from the leadership of some of the prominent consulting firms about their views on asset allocation, the state of the markets, and what they are doing as it relates to diversity within their organizations. Additionally, this group will address what concrete actions they employ to foster more inclusion of firms owned and managed by women and people of color in their research and selection process.
The National Association of Securities Professionals seeks to ensure minorities and women have an equal share in the securities industry, promote awareness of the latest trends and opportunities in the field, and provide domestic and international networks for the education and professional development of its members.
