On Thursday, October 8th, Marquette will be participating in the 3rd Annual “Building Bridges” Consultant and Manager Retreat hosted virtually this year by the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP).
Samantha Grant will be participating in a panel discussion entitled, “Building Brand Awareness through Institutional Databases – Are Consultants Searching for Your Firm?” The panel will explore the importance of institutional databases in the consultant/investor search process, including a discussion of which universes are garnering the most attention from consultants, a review of current/projected consultant screening activity and asset flows, and best practices for managers on how to best leverage databases to maximize their competitiveness during consultant searches.
The Consultant Retreat aims to increase access to institutional investment consulting firms for the NASP membership base in order to facilitate an increased number of research meetings and allow consultants to learn about the diverse investment managers that offer products aligned with their asset allocations. NASP is the premier organization that assists people of color and women achieve inclusion in the financial services industry.
