Marquette Speaking at RCRI 2021 Annual Conference

On Thursday, October 28th, Nichole Roman-Bhatty, CIMA®, and Nicole Johnson-Barnes, CFA will be presenting at the Resource Center for Religious Institutes (RCRI) National Conference being held virtually October 26–28th, 2021. The panel is scheduled for October 28th at 9:15am.

Entitled “Faith Based Investing: Addressing Racial Equity and Inclusion,” the panel will seek to answer how Catholic investors should address the growing social inequities exacerbated by the dual impacts of COVID-19 and the call to address systemic racism in the U.S. Featured panelists will also include Lauren Compere, Managing Director and Director of Shareholder Engagement at Boston Common Asset Management moderating the panel; Sister Lee Hogan, CSJ, President of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston; and James Malone, CFA, Chief Financial and Diversity Officer at Community Capital Management. Panelists will also share ways they are working with investors, including Catholic organizations, to help address racial equity and inclusion in their investments across asset classes, including public equities and community investments, voting of proxies, and engaging with companies to accelerate needed action.
