On Monday, July 22, Michael W. Shone will be speaking at the Pennsylvania County Controllers Association annual conference.
Michael will be presenting “Is Your Portfolio Prepared for the Road Ahead? Can it Meet Actuarial Assumptions?” The presentation will seek to address the following questions for attendees: “With lower than historic returns expected in the future, what can be done to increase returns while adding as little risk as possible? Should plan sponsors also consider lowering their assumed rate of return?”
The PSACC is an organization comprised of County Controllers from 38 counties across Pennsylvania. Their annual conference provides an educational opportunity for controllers, deputies, solicitors, and staff to exchange ideas and keep abreast of changes in the market.
