Nicole Johnson-Barnes Speaking at Responsible Investor 2019 Conference 12/4

December 04, 2019

On Wednesday, December 4, Nicole Johnson-Barnes, CFA will be speaking at the Responsible Investor (RI) New York in New York City: “Sustainable finance in an era of populism, climate collapse, and global trade wars.”

Nicole will be moderating a panel discussion focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and impact investing. The session will seek to explore questions including:

  • How are the SDGs creating change and value through the business and institutional investment chain?
  • What does the investment benchmarking of companies against SDG progress look like, and why do it?
  • How do asset owners and society at large interpret successful SDG investment?

RI New York, formerly RI Americas, is a leading sustainable business and finance conference held annually and hosted by Response Global Media Limited, the independent UK publisher of Responsible Investor. Now in its 11th year, the conference brings together over 600 investment professionals and the 2019 conference coincides with Sustainable Finance Week, an initiative dedicated to mobilizing the next $10 trillion in capital for a more inclusive, sustainable world.
