Dave Smith Speaking at NAST 2023 Treasury Management Training Symposium 6/14

On Wednesday, June 14, Dave. Smith, CFA will be speaking at the National Association of State Treasurers’ 2023 Treasury Management Training Symposium (TMTS) in Portland, Oregon.

Dave will be speaking on a panel entitled, “Cover Your Assets – Educate and Engage Your Board.” The session will explore the various oversight roles boards can, do, and even should play in 529 plans by addressing fiduciary duties of the board and how to fulfill those duties, board engagement in plan activities, and questions boards can ask to ensure they are providing adequate oversight.
