Marquette Speaking at Opal Emerging Managers Summit 5/23

On Monday, May 23, Kelli Schrade, director of manager research, will be speaking at the Opal Group’s Emerging Managers Summit at the Swissotel Chicago. She will be discussing the topic “Why should we look at emerging managers?” on a panel moderated by James Maloney, chairman of the investment committee for Chicago Policemen’s Annuity & Benefit Fund. The Emerging Managers Summit explores the benefits and opportunities offered by investing in emerging managers as well as new strategies for implementing an emerging managers program.

Kelli is a regular speaker at both the Opal Emerging Managers Summit and on emerging managers in general. Past Opal panels Kelli has participated in covered topics such as the investment consulting point of view and the role of consultants in vetting emerging managers. Last month, Kelli moderated the emerging managers panel at the Pension Bridge Annual Conference in San Francisco.
