On Tuesday, February 25, Tom Latzke, CAIA, will be speaking at the 7th Annual Central States Institutional Forum hosted by Markets Group in St. Louis, Missouri.
Tom will be moderating the “Private Markets Investing at the End of the Economic Cycle” panel, described as follows: “Expected returns in public markets have driven investors to continue to increase their allocations to private markets, especially private equity, private credit, and real estate. With more than $1T in dry powder awaiting deployment and the end of the economic cycle on the horizon, investors are struggling with capital allocations and what to expect from illiquid assets going forward. Investors may be able to achieve better outcomes by better understanding where we’ve come from and the different drivers of returns going forward.”
The Central States Institutional Forum is an educational initiative designed to build peer communities that merge global best practices with local expertise. The forum is designed to bring together roughly 80 staff members, investment officers, board members, and trustees representing Missouri, Tennessee, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
