John Hunter is an investment associate for Marquette Associates and works from our Philadelphia office. He joined the firm in 2026 and is responsible for performance calculations and client analysis and works with Marquette’s research team on various projects.

Prior to joining Marquette, John was a graduate assistant at the University of Alabama and previously held internships at The Westervelt Company and WeldenField Development. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served as an anti-tank missile gunner for four years.

John holds an M.B.A. with a focus in financial engineering & risk management from the University of Alabama Manderson Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in finance from the University of Alabama.
