Brian Goding is a managing partner for Marquette Associates and has 38 years of investment experience. An owner of the firm, Brian joined the company in 2013 through the merger with Fiduciary Consultants, Inc., which he joined when it was founded in 1988. He serves as the primary investment consultant on several client relationships.
Prior to joining Fiduciary Consultants, Brian was in the consulting services division of a major international investment firm, where he worked closely with the trustees of institutional investors such as public employee and jointly-trusteed Taft-Hartley funds. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and to professional organizations, presenting on the fundamentals of investment management and fiduciary responsibilities.
Brian earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is a member of the Missouri Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).
Tim Hamann is a managing partner for Marquette Associates and serves on the firm’s board of directors. An owner of the firm, he has been with the company since 2003 and has 33 years of investment experience. He serves as the primary investment consultant on several client relationships, with a focus on Taft-Hartley funds.
Prior to joining Marquette, Tim spent eight years at the Northern Trust Company, where he divided his time between institutional portfolio management (index funds, structured equity products, and cash overlay services) and client servicing responsibilities with ERISA plans. Tim began his career at Firstar Bank in Madison, Wisconsin.
Tim holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Doug Oest is a managing partner for Marquette Associates and serves on the firm’s executive committee. An owner of the firm, Doug has been with the company since 2003 and has 23 years of investment experience. He leads the corporate practice area at Marquette and serves as the primary investment consultant on several client relationships. Doug is a member of the firm’s operations committee, IT committee, and nonprofit services group.
Doug earned a B.B.A. in management and finance from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association®.
Mike Piotrowski is a managing partner for Marquette Associates. An owner of the firm, Mike has been with the company since 2005 and has 21 years of investment experience. He serves as the primary investment consultant on several of the firm’s client relationships, with a focus on non-profit organizations including health systems, foundations, and endowments. Mike is a co-lead of the firm’s nonprofit services group and a member of the operations committee and OCIO committee.
Prior to joining Marquette, Mike was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. He holds a B.A. from Indiana University. Mike holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association®.
Chris Caparelli is a managing partner for Marquette Associates. An owner of the firm, Chris has been with the company since 2009 and has 17 years of investment experience. He serves as the primary consultant on several client relationships, with a focus on public funds, Taft-Hartley plans, and nonprofit organizations. Chris leads Marquette’s internal consultant development program and is a member of the firm’s nonprofit services group.
Prior to joining Marquette, Chris was an analyst in the fund marketing group of Henderson Global Investors.
Chris was an Evans Scholar at Marquette University, where he graduated with a B.S. in finance from the applied investment management program. He holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Chris is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
Patrick Wing is a managing partner at Marquette and works from our Philadelphia office. An owner of the firm, Pat joined the company in 2017 through the merger of Peirce Park Group, where he started working in 2013. He has 21 years of investment experience and serves as the primary investment consultant on several client relationships. Pat is a member of the firm’s OCIO committee and operations committee. He also provides quantitative, analytical, and research support to the consulting staff.
Prior to joining Peirce Park Group, he spent nine years at Cambridge Associates in the firm’s Arlington, Virginia office. While there, he was a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Research Group. His role included developing investment ideas and research topics for firmwide asset allocation decisions and client advice.
Patrick holds a B.A. in economics from the College of the Holy Cross. He is a CFA® charterholder and has also earned the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement.
Lauren Cellucci is a managing partner for Marquette Associates and works from our Baltimore and Philadelphia offices. An owner of the firm, Lauren has been with the company since 2016 and has 22 years of investment experience. She serves as the primary consultant on several client relationships and is a member of the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion committee and nonprofit services group.
Prior to joining Marquette, Lauren was a vice president and director for BB&T Institutional Investment Advisers. Her responsibilities included working with foundation and endowment, defined benefit, and defined contribution clients on investment policy, asset allocation, and manager selection. Previously, Lauren served as an investment advisor with Wilmington Trust in their high net-worth division.
Lauren holds both a B.S. and M.B.A. in finance from the University of Delaware. She is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certificant and a member of the Investments and Wealth Institute. Lauren is a member of the CFA Institute and serves on the board of trustees and as chairwoman for the investment committee at Notre Dame of Maryland University. In 2020, Lauren was nominated for the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) Diversity & Inclusion Rising Star Award.
Aimee is a managing partner at Marquette with over 20 years of investment experience.
Aimee O’Connor is a managing partner for Marquette Associates and has 21 years of investment experience. An owner of the firm, Aimee has been with the company since 2019 and serves as the primary consultant on several religious, endowment, high net worth, and family office client relationships. She serves as co-chair of the firm’s private client consulting committee and is a member of the firm’s sustainable investing group and nonprofit services group.
Prior to joining Marquette, Aimee was an independent consultant working with RIAs, family offices, and high net worth individuals. Previously, she was the co-director of consulting and senior consultant at a nationally-recognized investment consulting firm.
Aimee holds a B.A. in management with a minor in mathematics from Loras College. She is a CFP® practitioner and a former member of Northwestern University’s CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Certification Education Program faculty and CFP® Advisory Board. Aimee serves on the Chairman’s Advisory Council at Big Shoulders Fund, as trustee for the investment board of the Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart, and is a member of Women Investment Professionals, Chicago.
Tom Latzke is a managing partner for Marquette Associates and has 23 years of investment experience. An owner of the firm, he joined Marquette in 2015 and serves as the primary investment consultant on several client relationships as well as on numerous firm committees.
Prior to joining Marquette, Tom was the deputy city treasurer for the City of Chicago where he served as a trustee on behalf of the city treasurer for the City’s pension plans. He began his career at a boutique fixed income asset manager, where he oversaw client bond portfolios.
Tom holds a B.S. in business administration from Eastern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association®.
Marquette’s Director of Research, Greg is a fully credentialed actuary and has over 25 years of investment experience.
Greg Leonberger is the director of research and a managing partner for Marquette Associates. An owner of the firm, Greg has been with the company since 2008 and has 26 years of investment experience. He leads the firm’s capital markets research and directs investment strategies and policies. Greg chairs the firm’s investment committee and also serves on the OCIO and defined contribution committees and the nonprofit services group. He has authored numerous papers on portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and liability driven investing, and regularly consults with clients on these topics.
Prior to joining Marquette, Greg was an actuarial consultant at Hewitt Associates for nine years where he consulted on all aspects of pension and post-retirement welfare plans, including funding, accounting, strategy, design, and regulatory compliance.
Greg holds a B.S. in mathematics and economics from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. with honors in analytic finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Greg is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an enrolled actuary, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
