On Wednesday, April 16, Amy Miller will be speaking at Pensions & Investments’ 2025 Private Markets Conference in Chicago.

Amy will be moderating a panel entitled, “Sector Investing – When Does it Make Sense to Go Specialist and Generalist?” described as follows: As private markets grow increasingly competitive, generating incremental alpha and identifying top performing GPs has become more challenging. This session will explore where investors decide partnering with generalists for broader exposure and diversification or specialists for in-depth sector expertise. From biotech to consumer and financials, LPs will gain insights into balancing returns and diversification within a risk-appropriate framework when allocating capital across private equity and venture.
