On Thursday, October 8, David Hernandez, CFA will be speaking at the eighth annual Consultant and Manager Retreat hosted by the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP) in Charlotte, North Carolina.

David will be joining a panel entitled “The Active vs. Passive Investment Management Debate for Institutional Investors” described as follows: As institutional investors navigate market concentration, fee pressures, AI-driven market dynamics, and the continued growth of passive strategies, the opportunity set for active management continues to evolve. This panel will bring leading investment consultants together to examine where active strategies can still deliver meaningful value across equities, fixed income, and other asset classes—and what these shifts mean specifically for smaller managers.
