Jamie will be moderating a panel entitled, “LGBTQ Employees and Other ‘Invisible’ Employees: Many Employees Remain Hidden, What Can We Do to Help?” with several industry professionals. Some of the most vulnerable employee groups, including LGBTQ colleagues and those with mental wellness issues, are also the most invisible, either because of choice or driven by fear — or both. This is despite best corporate intentions in some cases and, with some other firms, by necessity. What is the latest thinking in ways to help asset managers and investing institutions assist and support their “invisible” employee groups while still protecting and honoring those team members’ privacy when needed?
