Marquette Speaking at Pension Bridge 2023 Private Equity Exclusive 7/25

On Tuesday, July 25th, Nat Kellogg, CFA, and Amy Miller will be speaking at the Pension Bridge Private Equity Exclusive 2023 hosted by With Intelligence in Chicago.

Nat will be moderating a panel entitled, “How Can Emerging Managers Find Traction?” described as follows: Emerging managers are an important part of investors’ portfolios that add diversification in deal size and industry specialization, which contributes to outsized returns. However, LPs are becoming increasingly selective, as market conditions make capital deployment more difficult. This panel will discuss challenges in the year ahead and how emerging managers can stand out when approaching LPs.

Amy will be moderating a panel entitled, “Venture Capital in Focus: Surviving and Thriving in the New Environment,” described as follows: Venture capitalists have enjoyed a relatively long run of valuation upticks, a scattering of liquidity events, and increased support from local institutional investors. Now, the industry is facing a reality check. Challenging economic conditions have prompted questions about business model stability and the viability of valuations, and capital is harder to source. This panel delves into the current challenges and growth opportunities in VC, as well as investors’ perspectives for the year ahead.
