Brian Wrubel is the president and chief executive officer for Marquette Associates and serves as the chairman of the firm’s board of directors and executive committee. An owner of the firm, Brian has been with the company since 1989 and has 30 years of investment consulting experience. As the president & CEO, he is responsible for ongoing management, including managing the overall operations and resources of the firm, and setting the strategy and direction of Marquette. In addition to his management responsibilities, Brian leads the public fund and Taft-Hartley practice areas and serves as the primary investment consultant on several of the firm’s key relationships and has been a featured speaker at various conferences.
Brian holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and is a graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business CMI program.
Brian is currently on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago where he serves as board chair. He is also on the boards of the Francis W. Parker Investment Committee and the Purple Heart Foundation. Brian is member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Economic Club of Chicago.
