Chad Sheaffer is a senior research analyst for Marquette Associates with 13 years of investment experience and works from our Philadelphia office. He joined the firm in 2022 and is responsible for conducting due diligence on private credit products and managers as well as developing macroeconomic and capital markets research. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee and alternative investment manager search committee.

Prior to joining Marquette, Chad was an investment officer at Haverford College, where he primarily conducted multi-asset manager research for the endowment portfolio. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co., an outsourced CIO.

Chad holds a B.S. in business administration, summa cum laude, with concentrations in finance and international business from Drexel University. He is a CFA^® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Philadelphia. Chad is also a CAIA charterholder and a member of the CAIA Association®.
